What a great turnout for SDFD Station 39 Hot Dog Roast to benefit the Burn Institute. Saturday, May 24, 2025.

The Tierrasanta Community came out with their family and friends to support the event.

Motors for Minds

The 3rd annual Motors for Minds firefighter car show fundraiser this past Saturday had a fantastic turnout.

We are thrilled that 100% of the proceeds will be donated to FirefighterAid, supporting mental health programs for San Diego County firefighters. The San Diego Firefighters Credit Union proudly entered its "smokin hot"  truck in support.  Even Chief Logan stopped by for a look!

Attendees enjoyed food, drinks, live music, and family-friendly activities. Raffle tickets and merchandise were also available.

Graduation Ceremonies were held on the USS Midway, May 1, 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

San Diego Firefighters is a continued sponsor and volunteer for the SD Fire-Rescue Department Paramedic program

This program is a fast-paced, intensive program designed to prepare San Diego firefighter emergency technicians (EMTs) and other local area agency EMTs to become paramedics.

Graduates were from: San Diego County CAL FIRE, San Diego FD, Chula Vista FD, and National City FD

Thursday, March 6, 2025, 100th SDFD Fire Academy Graduation….31 new Probationary Firefighters joined SDFD!

San Diego Firefighters Federal Credit Union, continued proud sponsor of the graduation ceremony, which includes a $250 check for the Honor Grad (Justin Davis), who also cuts the first piece of cake with his customized axe.

Firefighters will be on our street corners to collect donations to support burn survivors and fund life-saving fire prevention education. Our 26th year of this important tradition enables the Burn Institute to provide amazing programs.
